This song is about the relationship of her and her handler. A handler in Monarch Programming  is the person who programs and triggers victims. Monarch Programming is a technique used to create mind controlled slaves. This horrid process creates an alter personality which is easier to control. It is basically a process of torturing the victim until they lose touch with reality, and an alter is born. It is named after the monarch butterfly, because of the metamorphosis that takes place; at first it is a cocoon, and then it turns into a butterfly. Same results are shown after the programming is finished, a new person is born. The process includes SRA and MPD, (Satanic Ritual Abuse and Multiple Personality Disorder). 

INTRO

Once a split in the core personality occurs, an “internal world” can be created and alters can be programmed using tools such as music, movies (especially Disney productions) and fairy tales. These visual and audio aids enhance the programming process using images, symbols, meanings and concepts. Ice-cream, like in Mariah Carey’s breakdown, is symbolic to a mental brain freeze. At the start, an electric zap (Electroshock) is heard, which is part of the method to torture subjects.

HANDLER

Dressed in white from head to toe, and wearing a wedding dress, this shows the beginning of their relationship, (though a long time ago), it just represents the initiation.

Obvious abuse she receives from her handler. Victims are constantly manipulated by their handlers, in this love-terror environment, monarch slaves are easier to trigger.

The black wings tattooed on the handlers back, simliar to the sexual scene in the movie “Black Swan” (where Lily’s similar tattoo is seen), is symbolic to the force that is communing with Lady Gaga. VC describes, that “it is penetrating her, giving her orgasm, but also taking over her life.” The tattoo in whole, represents the Egyptian hawk Horus (Lucifer), or the masonic phoenix. Though it looks like she is willing here, sexual abuse is used when the victim is not in a state to actually give consent. 

METHODS

A various amount of systematic abuse is portrayed in “Yoü and I”, the same used to create alters and split the core personality.

The handlers cause intense trauma to subjects through the use of electroshock. A frame of this device measuring the voltage is shown for a split second in the video. In the first moments of the music video, you can also hear the shocks.

Here, Gaga is strapped and you can see Stefani being electrocuted. The wheel behind her could represent “spinning”, which is a second method to inflict harm. A third and important factor, is drugs. You can see her in a water tank multiple times in the video. Placing the victim in salty water, is used to cause sensory deprivation, which allows the victim to dissociate more easily. 

In this frame, she has no air mask, and the near-drowning experience is another form of torture used. These experiences are followed by immediate resuscitation. Depending on the temperature and type of substance, this could be another type of sensory deprivation in which the person is submerged in ice water or burning chemicals.

The presence of these tools further accentuate the fact this video is about monarch mind control.

Mirror reflections represent a slave’s alter-persona that is programmed and manipulated by a handler.

Strapping, bondage, and restraints are part of the process also. It is especially applied in the creating of BETA alters. This video is not about a part robotic woman who turns into a mermaid, made into a human, and then turns into a mermaid at the end of the video.
